Steam Train Pictures I took In My Youth

I started photographing steam trains in 1965 at the age of 13. Unfortunately, for the first few months I only had a Box Brownie.

Sadly my grandfather passed away in early 1965. The benefit for me was that I managed to get his 35 mm Kodak Retinette 1A camera. At the time it was one of the better ones, and one many famous railway photographers started with.
